Ledgent Technology has once again partnered with a key employer in the Milwaukie, OR market for their open .NET Software Developer role!

NEED TO HAVE: 5+ years of professional Development experience

.

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications using Visual Studio, C#, .NET Framework, and ASP.NET

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions

• Create visually appealing and user-friendly web interfaces that enhance the user experience

• Utilize front-end SPA frameworks to build responsive and interactive web applications

• Ensure seamless integration with backend services and databases

• Design tables, stored procedures, and functions in MS SQL Server

• Development opportunities with Python and other languages as required

System Integration and Troubleshooting:

• Manage the complete SDLC using tools such as Azure DevOps and techniques like CI/CD

• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs through systematic troubleshooting and debugging techniques

• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software

.

Documentation:

• Create detailed technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance of developed systems

• Document coding standards, architectural decisions, and best practices to ensure consistency and clarity across the team.

Continuous Learning and Collaboration:

• Actively participate in code reviews, discussions, and brainstorming sessions to promote a collaborative and constructive team environment

• Continuously improve technical skills and stay informed about emerging trends in software development, web design, and related technologies

• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our software products

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a similar relevant field, or equivalent work experience

.

Experience:

• Proven experience in software development with a focus on C# and .NET frameworks Understanding of commonly used programming languages, OOP, design patterns and data structures

• Experience with SQL and MS SQL Server required

• Experience working with TFS, SourceSafe or other source control programs including Git

• Familiarity with Python, WiseJ and/or Blazor a plus

• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD a plus

• For legacy applications, some knowledge of VB.NET and Windows Forms design helpful
